One of the better ones from Tropical Wings last weekend with the Kit lens on. Wasn't sure whether this was a bit too orange and also whether the dead fly should be cloned out or not (my PS skills are non-existent).

Any C&C on these issues welcome along with pointers as to what breed of hairy moth thingy it might be?

No idea what it is, but I'd be inclined to leave the dead fly in....adds to the story of this huge monster about to devour it!! Fab pic......did you say a kit lens....impressive! :thumbs:

wow, gorgeous shot, i like the orange tones to the picture as well, gives a nice warmth imo. nice one! :thumbs:

It's been edited (Unfortunately I can't take credit for the dodge, burn or sharpening. Nor the cloning out of the fly) but personally I think it's an improvement.....

Ladybird I sat there for a couple of minutes waiting for it to move, or do something other than sup orange juice, but it seemed content to just slurp away. Consequently never had a chance to see the inside of it's wings before I had to catch up with the kids to stop them throwing ducks at the Koi.....
