First of all - 18 months since this was posted and no one has commented on it.... shame on all of us who comment on sports pictures..

Shame that the legs have been 'chopped off' on the left hand side of the image.
But I love the expression you've caught on the face of the guy facing the camera, brilliant!
The background is a little messy, but I know it's something you can do very little about when shooting sports.

Nice capture though, in my view. And I think that the sport is a great one for photography... should try to pop over to Ireland to try photographing it myself!

I wonder why it didn't come up on unanswered posts. Well done for noticing it!

I agree with the comments above but have to say I love the expressions you've captured!

Nope, it doesn't show up that way, but if you click on the 'replies' in the Sports thread. You will be able to see posts that have had the most and the least replies.. that's how I found this.
Check the Landscape section for fun... over a page of unanswered posts there...

But, as this image proves... dig something up from the past and people will notice it!! (and comment)
