Nikon 70-300mm VR

Hi,

Does anyone know the length of the Nikon 70-300mm VR when it's extended?

Bottom of lens mount through to top of lens, without hood.

lol - Andy. :-) Nope, I'm looking at the Sigma 50-150mm f2.8 which according to Sigma is 138mm - and wanted to know how big it was in comparison to the Nikon 70-300mm VR (seeing that I know how big that felt). Haven't had time to see one in the flesh yet.

the op asked for fully extended and that is nearer 210mm i,ve just measured mine :thumbs: in real money the sigma is three and a half inches shorter hth mike

Sorry Shane yes Mike is right,145mm is the closed measurement not the extended.
