Really? We get loads here! We seemed to get more once we installed the thistle seed feeder, which was meant to attract the Gold Finches

Sun flower hearts will keep the gold and green varieties coming back.

If you use a table or the floor it will also attract bullfinch.

I already do - best fed finches for miles! I use sunflower hearts mixed with Budgie mix from Wilkinsons - cheaper that the pet stores and they are queuing up to feed. The green - gold and chaffinches stay on the feeder whilst the blue and great tits grab a "heart" and take it up into the birch tree to peck at it keld down on a branch. Starlings see everything off and are hogs. At least the doves have to wait for the fall-out and this is the preferred area for the chaffinches and dunnocks. The Robin has tried the feeder but not secure on the perch and looks like a humming bird.

Fat balls? Over fed and under exercised is the usual reason!

Here favourite of starlings but attract the LT Tits as well as blue and great tits.

Good luck with the greenfinch hunt!
