Nice sunny day in London so I took a stroll round the Warren St area. All comments gratefully received! More HDR practice!!! :D:
Just added one more and tried to reduce noise on 3 & 4

Lovely stuff John..... quite a productive day in the smoke then!! :D
There is quite a bit of noise in the sky of the first ones.....My favourites are the last two 5 & 6... they are brilliant.

Yeah thanks Janice I might redo those - I was keen to process and post - could have spent a little longer on those first ones I think!
Great images, John. They are tack sharp, have great color and beautiful composition. Two thumbs up.
6 & 7 do it for me, nice one. Shame about the JPG compression in 3 & 4.
4,5 and 6 are my favourites, good pic's including one of my occasional office in Triton Square!

Cheers chaps! Jas which one is your office? I work round the corner on Drummond Street/Hampstead Road.

I really like number 2, a subject many photographers wouldn't bother with. It sreminds me of a painting I have by Bary Smith, a London artist. Here (http://www.barryejsmithart.co.uk/fantastic5.htm)is an example of his work.
Did you have to correct the angle of the building?

Thanks Peter - interesting comparison! Yes I did a little perspective shifting but it didn't need too much (my first real attempt as well!)

WOW more great shots! Are these all HDRs from one image? or are you doing the auto bracket jobby? (is that the right term?) Whenever I have tried HDR from one shot I get a similar kind of noise...I am guessing because you are altering the image. When I have tried with the auto-bracketing it seems to loose all the noise. Just a thought! Still stunning shots! I like all of them!

Cheers Tom and they are indeed HDRs from one image. I was out without a tripod so these were all handheld and I don't trust myself to keep a steady camera between shots! :bonk:
Maybe next time !!!! I'm still learning lots about this game but as long as its fun....:D

I've yet to have any success from HDR, do you use photoshop or photomatix?

Photomatix Peter.
Into Rawshooter to create my 3 images as tifs, into Photomatix to create and tone map and then into CS to finish off, tweak, sharpen and size.

I'll try it again - I think there are problems when using Photomatix with Lightroom when using 1 raw which is when I gave up last time.
