Just thought I'd share a few favorites from a session last week. I've been photographing this family since the oldest boy (now five) was four months old. It's always fun to see the family grow.

All are natural/available light. Everything except the bathtub shots is Tri-X 320 at varying ISO's in medium format. The bathtub are Delta 3200 in 35mm, lit by bare nearly-overhead bulb.

Here's Seamus:

And Dash:

Dash's twin sister Alannah, who always looks over the top of her glasses because it's the only way her eyes line up correctly:

Fun with levitation:

Fun with bubbles:

I'm off to San Diego for the week. See you on the other side!

All of these are superb, CJ. Their parents must be so pleased....specially if they have been getting you to do them for so long.

The black and white looks good, which normally I wouldnt have thought would work on kids.

Brilliant!

Love the way you've caught their expressions in the first 3.

3rd & 4th shots are excellent, especially the 3rd, easily one of the best portraits I have ever seen

I love 2, 3 & 4. B & W seems to work really well with children; a friend of mine spent a small fortune at a professional photographers a few years ago, having really brilliant B&W pics done of her children....the photographer won a major comp with them so the family got a prize too!
