View Full Version : IS on a monopod?
Whats the deal with using in-body IS on a monopod mounted lens? Should I be enabling it at all, or on the lowest setting or treat the monopod as handheld and whack it right up?
Any advice greatly appreciated!

I always have IS on, a monpod and IS can be a great lightweight combination when hiking around the mountains, or anywhere else for that matter. It still has it's limitations but it's sometimes suprising just how low light levels can be and you'll still get pin sharp shots

Cheers guys, I'll leave it on, I just didnt know if it was having an adverse effect on the images, like the 2 things cancelling each other out.
Thanks for the replies!
