I thought it was time we got to see one of our Admin's

so here's EosD in all his glory, he was pictured taking a stroll around his country residence

I saved these for web use and they appear to have flattened down a little, i'll have to watch that in future ;)

He, he, he, on a serious note though their all great shots. I like the first one the best, even though the tall grass is a tad distracting. Very nice!

I like the first one best too, although I thought the grass added to the picture. Sort of makes the little monkey look like he's walking through it using the branch as a walking stick.

That pic reminds me of that video footage of that fleeting glimpse of 'Bigfoot' :D

I love the otter ones though, specially number 3!! One of my favourite animules ! :)

thanks for taking the time to comment on them.

They were all taken during a trip to Chester zoo the other week.

The asian short clawed otters are very funny to watch :D

The monkey is a buffy heded capuchin, he was about 12" tall in real life, so getting down low was needed.....my old kees are still complaining about it :lol:

The monkey shot really is a cracker, if you hadn't mentioned the zoo or included the other pictures here, we would have never known. Thats one of the biggest hurdles that we try to overcome when photographing wildlife in captivity. He stance and the way you have framed him with both forground and background thrown out of focus has added a great deal to this shot.

Excellent primate...ware you just monkeying around? :shock: - ok I'll get my coat. :?
