Gannet in flight

It's not often I shoot birds but was extremely bored on the ferry this morning coming back from a washed out Dunkirk, thought I'ld have a play.

Apart from being a bit bland with the background reasonably happy with these but always open to some C+C...

#1 by far, cracking photo :) I'd be well chuffed with that one :)
#2 looks like the whites have blown out (probably angled towards the sun)
#3 seems to be the opposite and seems a little dull.

Middle one - highlights blown - what a pity.
No 3 excellent.
No1 is utterly stunning.

Think you had better get into this bird lark a bit more if you are going to produce shots like these.

Thanks for the comments :D It was a lot easier than normal as the birds were coming pretty close to the ferry :D
