I'm sure this has been asked a hundred times but here goes anyway.

I just got a 7D but the Raw files won't upload into Elements. If I remember, I had the same problem with my 40D when I got that but I'm jiggered if I can recall what I downloaded to get that to work. I've tried Adobe DNG converter but that makes no difference:shrug:

Can someone please give me a wee nudge in the right direction.

Ta!!

Download the latest version of ACR?

Go to the adobe website and download the latest version of adobe camera raw for elements. you then have to carefully follow a surgical procedure whereby you go to the programme files, remove the old version of ACR and replace it with the updated version.

It's more than just a download but worth the effort. The adobe site shows which cameras are supported. None of my students yet has a 7D but I guess 5.6 might cover it.
