Can anyone suggest anything on this subject or lead me to the right direction?

Professional designing services is stupid money.

A3 paper, ruler and a sharp pencil.

Tis all you need, I design gardens every now and again, you can use software, forget the name, much better drawing it however :)

Sorry for posting a post of no help!

heh, I did my mum and dads, but when I get bored, I just randomly do it hehe. I'll try to remember the name of the software, when I'm awake a little more :P

I'll be interested in this too. I have our garden to do. No doubt whatever I design, my wife will undesign it with her already preconceived ideas. (I believe she's already flagged it and laid the decking in her head...lol)

Yes, I'm looking for some landscaping ideas // help too.

My garden is 3 metres by 2 metres, and has a non-relocatable 2 metre by 1 metre oil tank.
I was hoping to shoehorn a gazebo into a hidden corner?

Our garden was wall to wall (or fence to fence) concrete when we moved in three years ago. I measured the garden and mapped it out to scale on an A4 piece of paper, then we went to a garden centre and decided on what plants we wanted where. My advice is to start simple (grass, borders etc) because you can always add extra stuff in later!

Filled two skips with concrete which I broke up by hand with a sledgehammer! Garden looks great now but the sledgehammer didn't survive :(
