Those of you near this neck of the woods who fancy an evening out in the fresh air might just fancy this one...

"Think of a warm summer's evening with a picnic supper on the grass in the rolling countryside of Northamptonshire. On a specially-built stage in front of you are a symphony orchestra and choir, performing some of the most moving and popular classical music imaginable.

But this occasion is something special: in the sky above the stage are aircraft flying to the music!

As you sit back among the audience of thousands of other music-lovers, you can listen and watch as each piece is combined with its own airborne display, from a formation of six aerobatic aircraft to a solitary glider. Each item of music is selected to complement what you witness in the sky above the stage, and as the sun goes down the music accompanies a 'night glow' by hot air balloons, a free fall descent in darkness by the Red Devils Parachute team and ends with a fantastic firework finale."

Actually sounds like great fun. I have seen the microlight and Geese that appear on the site in the French alps. Here's a pic:

They are good, I've been to the one they do at Duxford around the 20th July normally.
