old kingfishers shots

I took these photos about twelve months ago using my camera at the time which was a sony h1 5mp 12x zoom with a 1.7 converter attached these were taken with the digital zoom on which gave me something like the equivelent of a 1428mm zoom which was quite remarkable really, obviously not pin sharp but the closest i have ever got to one i,m hoping to go back and see if their there again this summer with my pentax k10 wether i get as close ever again is debateable.

These are far from bad shots of a very elusive bird. The pose in the first shot is particularly good. It will certainly stand a sharpen. If this is a full frame shot then going to back to the original file and cropping with some careful processing should yield a very nice shot indeed. :)
