View Full Version : Nikon 14-24 F2.8 filters?
Hi all!
I need to pick up one of these lenses but wonderd what filter solution there may be once I get it? Do any of you have one or know of any solution?
Thanks in advance
Chris
Yep, Lee filters are launching a system for just this very lens later this month after nearly 2 years of waiting.
Nice timing ;)

That's the one!
Last time I checked the Lee website it was due to start shipping this month.
I paid for mine in March :bonk:

Not specific to this lens, but blue tack all the way. Not technical, not elegant, but if you're in a jam it's better than nothing at all.
I'm a little bemused that there is no more compact offering given the lead by the lens cap supplied?

But that seems to be the only option
Cheers all!
You can fashion a fitting with Cokin X-Pro filters which are 130mm wide. http://www.flickr.com/photos/lozzmann/4108074855/ also this one (http://lozzmann.blogspot.com/2009/08/my-home-made-cokin-x-pro-filter-rig.html)
Some good info there Simon. Thanks for that, might have to go and find some 100mm pipe :)
Would it be possible for some clever person to fabricate a rear-mount filter for this lens? If there's room in there, you only need a couple of mms. Canon 17-40L has a rear-mount fitting, but it's only suitable for gels as standard.
