Nothing great but I'm really beginning to like this lens, nice and wide, seems sharp at F4, quick focussing, money well spent :)

The first shot is good but maybe a little to much saturation, i also like the second shot, the third i can't see were the focus is, but that's just me, the last shot is just a very good picture, i like the ripples in the sand. :)

In all honesty CT, and it's all the fault of guys like you, No!!. :P

Since coming here I'm finding myself becoming very critical of the shots I'm trying to take. I'm taking more but rejecting a LOT more. I have a feeling that the last one would benefit from a lower viewpoint, more directional light for the sand and a better sky. LOL don't want much do I ;) Maybe it's because I was in a hurry and needed something for Wish you were here but I know that location can look so much better. It's on the list for another go, along with a plastic sheet to avoid getting soaked when I lie down next time :)

PMSL! Welcome to The Quest For The Holy Grail. Hope you don't find it before me.

Seriously - I see your point about the lower viewpont, but it's a beautifully exposed shot and it would definitely be a 'keeper' if it was mine.

Fair enough, I'll keep it then ;) It was actually underexposed by a stop to retain the sky and then sorted in PS to get the detail back into the foreground.

These photos just go to show that you can capture much more than just buildings with this stunning lens. The last shot stands out here but the first one is also very impressive.

As you say, money well spent!!
