I am off to the Gloucester and Warwick Railway gala on Monday anybody else from here going as well
Surely the Gloucester and Warwick Railway is the G&WR, with GWR still referring to God's Wonderful Railway (or Greasy, Wet and Rusty...)

The Gloucestershire & Warwickshire Railway refers to the counties the steam railway presently runs through. Prior to the formation of British Railways in 1948 the railway was part of the Great Western Railway.
A lot of steam railways that were originally part of the GWR system are holding GWR175 events this year.
