I have the Tuesday after bank holiday off from work and kids.
I am thinking of going somewhere for some toggering.

I am, generally, interested of taking photos of people, but on this occaision will be looking at any other genre, be it a zoo, landscapes, macro or whatever. I like company when I'm outside my comfort zone.

Anyone free this date from the above locations? Will fit in and try to shoot whatever interests you just for the joy of taking some photographs.

:)

If you fancy the drive I'd recommend minsmere :)

Hi Ipswich Nige, yes you could try Minsmere. The butterflies are not that prolific yet, Few dragonflies about though and the occasional Hawk moth. You could go from there and get a Boyton sunset on the way home. That covers your macro and Landscape.

Went to Minsmere a few years ago and got a cracking shot
of Sizewell B in a misty landscape from one of the hides.

Any of you guys free for a bit of company?

Unfortunately I am not free but if this is works and there is enough interest then maybe we can organise one for a weekend

I keep on thinking of trying to organise a Bury St Edmunds meet but family issues (disabled son) always seem to crop up and I would hate to organise something only not to be able to be there and see it through :bang:.

If you are willing to include 'seascapes' as landscapes you have to do Southwold Pier. Sunrise is best..

I actually went down there for the sunrise but as you can see it wasn't very impressive..

..but then I (and several other early morning togs) turned round and saw the pier..
