I've never been one for bird shots but this little 'un jumped on our table searching for crumbs whilst my wife & I were having some tea & cake in Devon a couple of weeks back: http://milouvision.net/devon/

They were lucky shots as I prefocused my 50mm hoping they'd land where they did. It was lovely seeing 'em so close too.

Yes first two are called Blue Tits, last one is a finch or soemthing similar ! lol

The blue tit shots are great, but could have done with some fill in flash to bring out the eyes.

The female chaffinch is slightly out of focus on the important bits, the eyes.
She has got really deformed feet.

Aye - it's quite sad about the feet.

They're just snaps though - definitely not pre-planned - as it was doubtful if they'd return. Without appearing to be too fluffy :D, it was great to be in such close proximity to them. The Blue Tit was fab - s/he moved at about 1,000 mph and jumped onto the table right in front of me after I'd taken those shots.
