right first one, crouch down on the jetty, take the shot from a lower angle, if the clouds are as cool as they were the first time get one with loads of sky and one with loads of water, see what works better

second shot, again try a lower angle, also ove further round to the boat to make it more a feature. then try one wihtout the boat, just follow the river off down to whereever....
