First of all, Hello! Not posted on here in what feels like ages but my photography has really had to take a back seat in my life over the past few months and although I really do miss getting out there and taking the shots, I just cant seem to find the time to get out there :(

Now I know this doesnt really fit in here but nor does it fit into any of the other subforums, but here is a collection of photos that I picked out when I backed up my webspace earlier.

There is no theme other than I think they are the best photos of all the photos that made it to my webspace!

Enjoy, and any comments/criticisms will be well-received as usual :)

Some really nice shots there
Hard to choose a fave but if pushed Id go for #2 & #3
Absolutely love the composition & simplicity of #2, & the tones in #3 are fab!

The frog is wonderful! Just love him - and that tortoise (turtle?) too. Very clever use of a shallow depth of field to make his head pop out like that!

Get your camera out for goodness sake - and then share the results on here!

I like the simplicity of No2 but the two heads are too far over to the left of the frame with all that empty space on the right.

No5 looks a bit soft, which is easily sorted, but apart from those minor niggles, I have to agree, these are excellent, and you should make the effort to use that camera more often. :)

Lovely set of shots, with the one of the caterpillar being my pick of the bunch. Definitely a reason to aim to give your camera a bit more of a regular airing ;)
