Taken for Shutter Clock (http://www.numeronineo.com/shutterclock/home.php). The idea was to take a photo at 8pm GMT, which was 9pm here. This was the view from my window at 9pm, just after sunset.

Camera: Canon 30D // Lens: Canon 50mm // Focal Length: 50.0mm // Exposure Time: 1/60 // Aperture: f/4.0 // ISO: 400

Not sure on a deadline. I'm guessing not too far away since it was meant to be 9pm last night.

According to the Shutter Clock site, 8 GMT was the concept which in current UK time was 9 due to DST.

Ah, so your compensating for British Summer time.

Until I just looked at the GMT site, i hadn't realised that they called it gmt+1, for some reason i've ambled through life thinking gmt changed in line with the clock change.

I'm going for a lie down.....my head hurts.

Nice shot Pete very atmospheric.
If only GMT changed with daylight savings. It would make tide tables a lot easier to read!
