The camera wanted to go for a walk today, so I obliged. The heavens opened up and drenched me, but at least I got some pics;

Hey mate :)
Thought I would post here.
Can I just say I love the first one! Good composition, sharp and a stunning subject :)
Was there any reason why you shot at 1600 ISO in the second two? I would have thought with your groovy new tripod you would want to go for a sharper ISO and longer exposure, they look quite noisy. There's not much contrast in the mid-tones either - the grass looks quite soft. I'm wondering if you might have been better with a smaller aperture as well to improve the DOF...
Others might comment differently though.
Having said that ^ you've got the composition spot on with them :)
To be honest mate, I applaud your dedication especially with the weather, I've been a lazy ass and stayed in today rather than been out shooting.

Thanks for the reply. As ive just said to SteveOBHave over on ocuk, the 1600ISO was a complete accident. I stupidly didn't check it, and it was left on that after the catwalk shoot on wednesday.:bonk: Having said that, there was quite a breeze today, so keeping the aperture wide open with a high ISO allowed me to use a 3 second exposure which stopped everything becomeing a big blur. I'll have to learn to check all the setting before going out from now on.

2nd and 3rd i really like.
The fact that the tree at the front of #3 isn't your usual round tree helps with the pic - Imho
