Bit soft and yellow for me. Youve caught the action though...well done

You've got the timing pretty good. I'm no good at colours but the whites don't look quite white to me. There is some burn out too but you have certainly caught the action :)

yeh janice i noticed the yellow, these are taken handheld with a bloody heavy 500mm f7.2 manual focus lens, so i think that does not help, plus all they have had is a crop and a sharpen.
Probably just the wrong white balance maybe... if you used RAW give it a tweak in photoshop.

just checked camera and the white balance was set for shade and the iso was set at 800!, teach me for not checking wont it.
