These aren't the greatest band shots in the world - many have posted much better on this forum . The venue was tiny and very cramped. I didn't want to push myself to the front and only did so for the last song.

But as he's my lad and this was their first live performance with material that they wholly wrote, played and sang I'm proud to present these shots of Friday Hill.

The venue was Bar Monsta in Camden and from left to right its Kenzie, James and Mus - percussionist is Kofi (ex Jamiroquai and Soul II Soul):

nice shots John, what flash did you use for that? seems to have lit it up nice, looks like a VERY dark location :) no HDR though? :( hehe

P.S can we use this as a claim to fame? "We know James from Friday Hills dad" .......or "we know the dad of someone who is the same band as someone who apparently spelt with that big breasted model person, who isnt Jordan" :p (or shall I just stop trying to find a claim to fame?)

Ty Tom - I have a Sigma 500 DG Super - but I'm not a great flash photographer at all, And believe me I've tried these with HDR - noooo go!

As for a claim to fame....hmmm not so sure! But I'd use the first of the two if I were you :D

Did Friday Hill use to be a bigger group who for the life of me I cant remember?

EDIT - Blazing Squad! just came to me....bit past the time of my interest in pop...but I might have been staring at Fern Cotton when she was talking about it - I tend to not listen to her :p

TY Janice and Spencer! Indeed I'm very proud of James and I have my fingers x'd that this relaunch will be successful for the lads.

A taste of their sounds can be found in the link to their site in my sig.
