What a weekend !
Both the wife and I stayed near Chatsworth House in a B&B for the weekend. So we could go and see the Chatsworth Nissan Horse Trails both Saturday and Sunday.

What a top event. I am making sure that I will be going to a few more horse trails this year !

Here is a few photos...

Excellent set - each shot looks time to perfection - the riders' expressions are priceless.

Very good shots, I was hoping to go but couldn't make it. One minor crit is that they appear a bit dark and could benefit from some levels tweaks.

The expression on 3 is priceless. I agree they could be a bit lighter but a great capture of movement.

Wow these are fantastic photos - I event myself (in fact was at Chatsworth on the Saturday!) so I see loads of pictures of x-country and these are awesome. They really capture the true spirit of cross-country riding; its not about looking pretty its about riding by the seat of your pants, gritting your teeth, facing the fear and attacking the course.
You have pictures of some of Britain's top riders (two of our World Championship team members) looking like even they were worried - (I stood by that log when I walked the course and I can see why they're worried - a massive drop!).
I can't comment on the quality of the photos, but I can honestly say as far as capturing the competition in its true light, we have done marvellously - I hope you enjoy watching and photographing more events this year :-D
