Very nice indeed......but with the title I am quite disappointed its not a photo of Joe climbing into Ladybird's window!! :D :lol: :thumbs:

Luverly and sharp, with excellent colours.
Could do with being a tad rotated though.. needs a bit more red

Great capture but I agree with OG, would be even better if you'd managed to get the ladybird rotated a bit :shrug:

Thanks for the comments. I have quite a few with him/her rotated a bit, but they all seem to lack something imo. Here are two examples;

Ohh the very last one! If you clone out the bit of brown something at teh bottom. It is just the right amount of red in the see of green and you've hit the saturation perfectly. Great stuff.

:agree:
Other than the distracting brown twig, that's a lovely photo with superb colours.

Really? I thought that was the weakest one, lol. I don't like tht fact that hes climbing down and the diagonal bit of grass annoys me.:thinking:

Well if it really annoys you the background that is there makes it very easy to do some cloning. I'll give it a try when I get home to a proper computer, if you don't mind that is.

Feel free to try it. I realise I can clone it out, but I prefer to get the shot 90% in camera. A few of my shots have been altered and photoshopped, but strangely as ive come from a graphics/CG background, I prefer getting the shot as close to prefect as possible without PP.:)

I agree those times when you can but the chances of you getting to take this shot again are pretty slim and plus you can't move grass out of the way or the little bu*&^er would well fly away!

Just wait until I get my 105mm Macro lens after payday... then the little fella won't stand a chance. I actually found a couple of Ladybirds when I took this shot on Sunday, but as im only using the 18-55mm stock lens with a Hoya zoom closeup macro lens attachement, I have to practically rest the front element on the subject, which they don't seem to like, and promptly fly away. hopefully with a proper 105mm 1:1 macro lens I should be able to get some decent working distance.:)
