Taken with a M42 to EOS convertor, an extension tube and a late 1970s Pentacon 135mm/f3.5 prime (def not the same quality as a Carl Zeiss Jena DDR lens but it was my first prime lens in 1979) to see if the set-up would work:

Still tempted by the Canon 100 macro (amongst other things!)

I also used all three extension tubes on an old 35mm M42 prime but the focusing distance was about a cm...

i personally like them, especially the first one, a viola i think
the colours are great and i like the focus,

not bad at all for some older kit :wink: ,

Cheers - not too bad as the actual flower is only 3cm in height. The 2nd one's going...
