Hi all
I'm looking for a second battery for my Canon 50D, BP-511A.
There are many manufacturers of after market batt's, but has anyone got any good/bad experience with using non-standard batt's?
Cheers

My 5D and 7d, no probs, go for higher power, 2100mh, you might also need a charger, Canon would not charge 7D replacements or recognise them,

my third parrty batteries came with my grip - use standard charger and last just as long!
Get the ones from 7dayshop (http://www.7dayshop.com/catalog/product_info.php?cPath=777_3&products_id=8141); they last longer than the Canon ones.
