The Age from Melbourne, Australia features an interesting gallery of images by photojournalists who have taken the time to photograph their peers at work in Ever wanted to be a photojournalist?

more like paparazzi + some sport photographers. In my mind only photojournalists are the togs who go to conflict areas etc.

I don't see any paparazzi in there...lots of sports snappers and some news guys.

Not all PJ work is war zones etc...most of it is stood around waiting for something to happen outside Downing Street or similar.

Depends what you call PJ work. I'd like to call myself one but i'd say i'm more a news photographer, as are 90% of people outside of downing street. True photojournalists USUALLY cover issues in a more documentary/involved way. Well I guess the only defining feature is that photojournalists usually supplement photographs with text.

They are also the people that supply much needed articles to magazines like Autosport and The Automobile.
