View Full Version : The Majesty of Trees
Forest just outside of Ashridge College. This group of trees looked like they were lording it up over the rest

How beautiful. The lighting is just perfect!
Very nice,
I would've been tempted to 'garden' the shot a little, either before you took it, or after, cos the sticks lying on the ground on the lhs keep distracting my eye.
Thanks for the comments :)

Yes, I see what you mean! Will put it on the 'to do' list ;)
Wonderful shot of trees! love it, I'd love to get shots of the trees around me but girl+camera+tripod+lonely woods=
Thought I had already commented on this....It's the kinda shot i'd hope to get on my middle earth stuff but the weather wasn't playing ball. Really like this and the light is great.

Lovely ethereal feel to this shot. Spot on! although I agree with Spencer about the gardening bit
Nice shot. The trouble with the forests and woods that are being planted nowadays is that all the trees are planted in rows. So they all look artificial. :(

Lovely shot, lighting is very dreamy, but its still a very sharp photo, hard to pull both off. I feel it needs a dark border though even if its just 2-3 pixels. My eyes are constantly being led to the outside of the image, and im sure a small border will help focus your eyes to the center of the photo.
Thanks for the comments folks. Will try it with a darker boarder, thx for the suggestion :D

Superb!
Very tidy ground as has been said. Did you go around with a rake before the shot ;)
