Probably Yorkshire.

Quite an impressive line-up for an agricultural event, but it's mid-week so probably not an option for many :(

Do what everyone in the area does... call in a sickie! I never did understand why they have it in the middle of the week. It pretty much brings Harrogate to a standstill and last year it was 3 hours of traffic before you got there. But then Prince Charles was there so there was extra draw.

I used to work in Starbeck (just outside Harrogate)....was bedlam when the show was on!

(Going somewhat off topic....apologies Sue!)

Anyway, all I remember were very muddy fields and hours of traffic jams. Good photo ops either way!

My wife's just got the tickets back we'll be there this year, for the Thursday, parade of champions and the cock of the north are usually good for a few photo's, last year I also took some of the fashion show and Charles and Camilla of course, it's a great day out with lots to see, well worth a visit.
