OK, so after the eye-burning HDR's of the ruins, heres somethign more soothing to the eye. It was difficult to narrow the choice down to this number of pics and still give you an idea of the drama and sheer beauty of the scene! Hope you enjoy and C&C much appreciated

They are really impressive.
Love no. 1 it really shows the scale. Wouldn't have got me anywhere near that edge though.
No. 5 is almost holiday brochure the sky is soooooooo blue. I like it as it makes the greens look really rich.
All really nice though.

Looking at the colour of the water in the bottom a few others weren't that thoughtful!!

You have controlled the exposure very well considering it looks like vlistering light you were shooting in...
Thought about adding some itnerest to the skies by photoshopping in your own sky maybe with a few clouds? Would be very easy to do in these photos.
Um, ! What a beautiful place.
Number 5 for me :) You did a pretty damn good job considering the light, congrats!

Thanks all - must admit this was one of my favourite visits and some of the better shots. Later tonight I'll try and post the people and street scenes (once I find them from the 20gigs i shot!!)

Vertigo alert on number 1!
Seriously though, these are making me want to visit Morocco..........or at least see more of your pics! I'm not a fan of HDR, so it's good to see some "normal" images, and these are super.
With a bit of luck, by the time everyone has posted their travel pics, we will have had the equivalent of a virtual world trip!!

LOL - i bought an EPSON P200 very cheaply before i went and three 4gb Extreme III cards (also very cheaply from myMemeory and Play.com). the 1Ds also uses SD cards so for the 3 major travel days I was using up 6gb a day, roughly, without having to swap out cards. The epson jobbie also helps with whittling down the crud each evening!!!
Looks like a great place. I like No.1, unusual angle. There seems to be a much better sense of scale :)
Good to see you back mate, looks like you had a belting time. Cricket update if you want one :)
I love the first photo on here and the 3rd, It's looks very hot.

Wow....these are great
1 is great for the feeling it creates. I was gonna try my hand at this. I wanted to give the viewer vertigo just by looking at it but you have beat me too it ;)..It make me want to step backwards and I have (been a mountain walker) seen many drops like this up close and personnal.
2 for my fav. That's a great comp with the guy and the rainbow or should I say fallbow? ;)

Cheers Sie -you'd have loved it there! I did get sweaty palms taking that first shot - more for fear of dropping the camera as the foreground is actually the next level down........
