[My first HDR  ... I blame all the people here who turned me into a none hater  ]

So how did I do? I know I made a fatal mistake using ISO 1600 :suspect: (the one thing I forgot to check before snapping away) But it took a lot of hard work to sort myself out to take the RAW shots needed. I'll have another go later when the hubby is home so he can help me out a bit.... But for now, what are your thoughts?

Version 2! This one is done using ISO100 and  9 Raw images! I like this one better...

I am starting to like these HDR effects.

This is surely a great first try. I really like it.

I like the subject too.

That really works for me. Love it.

Love the stables and trees not loving the sky as much as the white cloud just looks really burnt out rather than HDR'd.... I'm a complete numpty when it comes to HDR though so I haven't a clue how to fix it or maybe I'm just wrong and it doesn't need fixing!

I think the building and its immediate surroundings are good....but I'd crop out the clouds, at their base, as H.R. Ford says.

Maybe I need to re-calibrate my monitor, those clouds look fine to me, not blown out at all. How are they on the original jojosmojo?

I like it! Love to see a bigger version on here though! Excellent first go at HDR - subtle and effective imo!

OK, I have added version 2 to the first post :suspect:

Nice, yet unnatural, building colours. Trees are blurred too much for my liking ***.

Not bad. Like snappy I think the "motion" blur in the trees makes slightly uncomfortable viewing. You may be able to use a single layer for this part though

Clouds look fine to me and not blown on my screen. I still prefer the first

Thanks guys :) now I'm not sure which one I like better  you all have valid points and it's making me think twice. Oh well, I don't suppose I did too bad for my first couple of go's ;)

Thanks again
