The 1st and last are great... just take a hacksaw to that sticky up mast thing it spoils the view. You might have to ignore the complaints from the passing/grounded boats ***.

Haha. I've been here about two months. Boyfriend was born in Elgin, lived in Nairn and then in Inverness for about a year, and he'd never been to these places that are walking distance from where we live. *tut* ;o)

I'm just an intrepid adventurer. I don't drive, so rely on shanks's pony to get me everywhere. I generally look on google maps satellite for 'green spaces' and walk towards them, hehe. But this place is really nice - you can either walk up along the Caledonian canal towards Beauly Firth, or up through the Ferry and inland along the shoreline of the Firth across the train tracks. There's some good wetland there too where I hope to get some heron shots one of these days!

Post processing - shadows/highlights first, then curves. Just toggle the values until I see something I like - I don't really know in detail and technicality what I'm doing >.<

Yay! Was almost in Beauly today (went to the Ffordes gallery camera shoppy thing for the other half to pick up a swanky new lens, and I got my long-awaited tripod). We're in Inverness.
