Ahh the eclectus is NOT dopey looking! They are sooo sweet. The females while prettier tend to be much moodier, much like with us humans!

These are garden birds - well mine's out in the garden at the moment and he looks like number 2 :)

1 and 2 are really good shots - love the background blur.
3,4 and 5 dont do a lot for me - as you say the lighting is difficult to control when against the sky on 3 and 5

The title came from the fact that these were flying free but not the usual things you would expect to see, If you see what I mean, Oh hell I am rambling again ( wheres me tablets mother? :D )
