Bet you had a tough time not darkening that castle too much with the grad's.

I love the effect a snow ladened mountain with those kind of broken skies has. This the castle at llanberis with Y-garn and the Glyders to the right isn't it?

To be honest this shot is a combination of 2 Tiffs taken from the same RAW file, one converted for the sky & one for the rest - couldn't get the shot quite how I wanted it in-camera

It is the one at Llanberis, seems to get missed by most visitors to North Wales which is a shame because the view is pretty impressive

I like it a lot, the rock in the foreground seems a bit soft focus which is distracting but the mood the shot creates is excellent.
