Had a bit of a floral few days.....
1) was my blog shot from one day in the week. I've been waiting ages for this geranium to start flowering nicely and now it has it's not disappointed....

2) When we moved into this flat nearly four years ago the first plant we bought was this Lavender. It sits in a pot on the balcony wall, and periodically gets knocked off the wall by the kids playing football, but a more good natjured plant you couldn't hope to find and still it flowers wonderfully each year....

3) Taken in my Mum's garden yesterday - she loves her Clematis and this one is covering one side of the back fence in HUGE purple and blue flowers at the moment - looks stunning! I believe it's called "Fireworks".

4) And finally, also from Mum's garden - not sure of the name of this one but it has the most beautiful delicate white and pink blooms.

The more of this sort of thing I do, the more I want a "proper" macro lens. These were all with the Sigma 24-70mm f2.8. Am giving serious consideration to the Sigma 105mm Macro now.
Thanks for looking - as always, comments welcome! :)
