Went out for the day down to the Big Cat Foundation in Kent with the PP day out offer. Chris Weston provided the guidance along with Chris Rutter and Andy James from PP. The foundation team are brilliant and the day out was huge fun. I was lying in the mud for this shot on the chance that she would turn around. :)

Hi Ian - the sepia and softening treatment does sacrifice a little sharpness. The more unusual perspective and treatment means that it sells well. I have a 4 foot canvas of it which is very impactful. Helps fund the photography - cheers for the comments - Ron :)

I like the sepia and the angle - but I have to agree that it would be better (in my opinion) if the focus were on the eyes; at the moment it seems to be on a little patch of fur about an inch and a half down the photo, on the right hand side...
I like it. Thing is too it's only photographers who will care about the eye not being in focus.

Dod's right....we do get hung up about eyes whereas, if you stand back and look as a "lay" person, this is a cracking poster shot. Lovely......and I like the colouration.
