These are my first shots of this critter.

Nikon D2XS
Sigma 150mm F2.8 EX DG Macro

The "on approach" shot - between the grass stems before I'd risk setting up for a proper shot.

They're incredible, I actually prefer the first shot, it's more natural and less like one of those specimens pinned to a board

No macro lens with me so this was the best I could get with the 24-105 the other day - any idea what it is called?

Great shot - I spent a couple of hours chasing damselflies yesterday and didn't get a single shot I was happy with.
