Many thanks, Jon

Image is a bit small Jon.
Good action capture, but I dont take to the Black and white.
I like to see colour of the water and the orange of their beaks.

Nature is mostly best in colour to my mind... exepting maybe the odd moody stormy landscape.

But as you are a beginner I will let you off this time!! ;) :naughty:

As a capture I think it's excellent but I'm afraid this one doesn't work in black and white IMO. It's one of those scenes that needs the colour to give it life. It just looks a bit dull for me, sorry Jon :(

Well, i really like it in black and white; the white swans against the black background works for me.

Might be tempted to remove the white feather (leaf?) floating in the water to the left of the frame.

Otherwise, good work!

Composition looks fine Jon.

Looks like you have added quite a bit of noise or grain which i'm not so keen on.

Thanks Rob & Kev. Leaf removed and no noise added Kev - think its a rsult of the original re-sizing (for my web)
