the speed, the sunshine, the glamour.. i left half an hour after the race started and didnt go back :)

I like the pics though, especially the last one, it really shouts "clown parade" to me :nuts:

should have tried to get the shot with all the cars in it instead of chopped, though.. but i was squatting down under a makeshift shelter made from a weelie bin :)

some people really take these cars seriously! kudos for sitting in that weather Gary for 30 mins, i wouldnt have lasted 3

tbh i think if it wasnt for the weather it would have been a lot of fun.. most of them dont take it 100% seriously and i there was a pretty good atmosphere. They go around corners much quicker than you would expect too.

Gary's a lightweight for doing 30 mins :D I was there for the entire weekend - nearly put me off race reporting for life!

IMHO, if the weather was good, it'd be a great event - thankfully Tyrells was open til 2am each night, so snuck some beer into there ;) ...
