Just had a look at the site and the Red Arrows will only be there on the Saturday. If that makes a difference to anyone.

I for 1 would love the chance to get some shots of the vapour trails from the Red Arrows :lol: or if I am lucky the tail section:shrug:

I'm good at tail sections of planes, I could give you tips :bonk: Equally, tail feathers of birds, rear ends of mammals...It's a whole genre...Arse end photography.

I could well be interested :) Having been there once before and Sunderland a couple of time you do seem to get a fuller more interesting show at Southport....though that could have been sheer luck. Paying to get in also keeps the numbers down. Marcel and I just managed to walk up to the very front with no issues when we went and you were nice and close to the action, 200mm lens seemed more than enough, where as Sunderland seems to be 200mm as the minimum.
