Greetings from Liverpool

Just a quick message to say hello - I'm new to this forum and my name is David. I've been making money from my photographs for the last three years, however I supplement it with IT web design and consultancy work.

The photography that I enjoy and do in the main, both for work and for enjoyment is people based, however I have an appetite for all things urban (growing up in south London that's hardly surprising) and like gritty documentary work.

I shoot mainly digital on a Nikon platform, probably about 95% of my work is done this way. But I still have and use a Mamiya medium format film camera and a darkroom.

Anyway, that's all I can think of at the moment.

Anyway, welcome David! Do you get back to London much? I think London is a fantastic city, and there is so much to see. At the moment I'm trying to get down there at least once every two months.

To answer your question Ian, I do get down to London fairly regularly, but mostly on business, which means it's hard to do what I love; wander around aimlessly for hours with my camera. It tends to be meetings in the main!

I'm sure Pete can account for quite a few of the newer Liverpool members, myself included.
