Anyone fancy the DTM this year?

Its Indy circuit only and myself and a couple of (photographer) mates are going on the Friday practice day (cheaper, less crowds!)

Assuming the weather is good that is!

Ahhhh, cars. :D Thanks guys.

Some very nice shots in your gallery EO. ...Ross? :)

Looks like a great day, unfortunately I be doing my normal job on Friday, couldn't get down their till mid-afternoon.

The thing is though, and excuses me for being stupid, but what does DTM stand for ...just out of interest like. ...I've just been searching and I reckon it’s probably not a German website containing men’s foam covered bottoms, :gag: .. Nor is it the department of terrestrial magnetism. ...

So..Driver test machines..?

Thanks

DTM stands for Deutsche Tourenwagen Meisterschaft

or German Touringcar Championship in literal English translation. The cars they run are absolute beasts. They use 4 litre V8 32v engines which produce around 500 bhp, in a car that weighs around 1070kg. Very loud and very fast.

I bet, that’s nearer to a bike pw ratio...yeeeha.

Deutsche Tourenwagen Meisterschaft... :D that’s the trouble with German they join all the words together and that really confuses google, lol. thanks m8.

Hope you have a goodun guys ... sounds will be fantastic. :D

This might be a bit late, but can I tempt anyone if I add that admission on Friday is ****FREE**** and so is parking on South Bank (ie inside the circuit with a view of the track from your car! Just in case you have never been before...)
