Boating on the sun-dappled Lancaster Canal looks like fun, idyllic even, and clearly appeals to many. This bridge, with its stone balustrades is one of the more ornate to cross the canal, and may have been paid for by the owner of the nearby mansion.

Well exsposed, sharp and the rule of thirds has been applied quite well. I would consider submitting it to a stock library.

Thanks for the comments folks. Yes robmiller, this is a few hundred yards south of the junction between the Lancaster Canal and the Glasson Canal spur, or if you prefer, near the A6/M6 junction.
