I just got me a Sigma 10-20 after much deliberation and finding my 17-40 not quite enough at times.

After leaving the store I wondered if I was doing the right thing. I went out tonight and tried it out. Now I am wondering why I hadn't got one earlier :)

This lens rock's!!

They're v.nice and I don't generally like landscape stuff. Don't give all the credit to the new lens though. I could put it on my camera and come out with some right crap.

I've had this lens pretty much since it launched back in Sep 05 and its such such fun. Every 1.6x crop landscape photographer should have one. You took your time :p Lovely shots too :)

Very difficult to chose a favourite but I think I like no. 4 the best, just like the detail in the foreground.

Fantastic set of images. Was the lens expensive? I long for the day i can go dSLR.

Thanks again everyone

HHRC-Photography: I got mine for £285 and the sigma is the cheapest of the crop super wides. I deliberated between the competition for sometime but there is hardly anything between them. There will always be varying degrees of distortion and corner softness with super wides and it's something you have to accept.

Saying that I quite like the distortion effect it makes a shot dynamic and more interesting. As for corner softness again it's no issue for me but if needs be you can always sharpen it up in PP.
