I mentioned on one of the threads that I was going in to hospital on 1st June for some tests.

Well I'm still alive :)

They just did a ECG on my heart and also bloody pressure. Again my pulse is below 50 BPM , but at least this doctor did ask me more questions

Have you done and sports or training in the past (yes, wild water racing (kayak))

and to what level ( British Team)

Oh so how much training was that ( 3 times a day for 5+ years. )

Well that's why your heart rate is slow :)

But we better monitor it more, so I book you in to wear a 24 hour monitor :(

If it goes really low you may need a pace maker

Anyway I'm fine really, but I may change my forum name to Steve Austin in a few months.

And thank you to all the formers who asked how I'd gone on.

You just give us a shout when you want your forum name changing :D

I assume your past is where your name whiteflyer comes from?

So you're basically so healthy that your body got bored and started to play up?

Glad to hear that everything is ok. If you are very fit and healthy (unlike me :embarrassed:), you do tend to have a slower pulse and heartbeat. I have seen women with a resting pulse of 40

mmmmmm. How slow a heart beat is considered too slow? I always thought the slower the better. :)

Glad to hear your test turned out ok, whiteflyer. As for the 24 hour thing, you have to be patient to meet beautiful nurses.

I know a lady who was training for the olympic kayak sprint event and her resting pulse went down to 29.

Well until it reaches zero
