Some nice images but you need to watch the tilt on your horizons, a little off in a couple. Nice work IMO could be improved with a little more attention to detail. Image #2 is a cracker.

Some nice ones there - I think you're better at birds than landscapes. The screaming gull is ace. The landscapes are less interesting, although I think the B&W beach works quite well.
ok, thanks,
ive been trying something new for land scapes, trying to get a sense of depth in them and trying to get your eye to lead into the back of the photo.
its the first time ive tried it and its been a great inprovement to my previous land scape stuff, its just hard to imagine what makes a cracking land scape. i too am happy how the b&w worked out, and how intense the blue sky is in the first one, things can only get better i hope, its just having the places to photo. and being there at the right time.

i thought i done quite well with the horizones,, its great to get other peoples opinions though cause it just makes me work harder at producing pics,
And what do you mean by attention to detail? having a more emphasis on something in the shot?.
thanks guys.

Oh it's the bird and the egg shot for me
This is an excellent stort telling photo. Not only saying the bird is protecting her eggs and the egg in the foreground to emphasis but it also asks the question how did the photographer get this shot? Maybe he climbed a cliff and peeped into a crevis. This kind of shot makes the viewer ask questions and thats good.
Well done!

No the pics are good, but attention to the small details like horizon really make the differance IMO, when I personally look at a landscape the first thing that normally hits me is if the horizon is not straight, maybe its just me being picky but it does make so musch difference IMO. I like to be as honest as I can in my crits as that is how I learnt, not being negative or desructive. I like the pics but with just a little more work they cound be crackers (the landscape), the birdie shot are realy good. Ian
PS Take a look at some of Sie's shots and see what I mean about horizons, I learned a lot from Sie's pics as all my H's were off.

Landscapes No 3 & 5 , I like em both.
oh ok, kissphoto , i know what you mean, thats what i liek about posting pics on here, you get honest opinions and good critisism, if it wasnt for this forum and magazines my pics would no where near be at the standard they are at the moment.
many thanks for the comments :)
