An old one I couldn't be bothered to process before. I couldn't make my mind up if it worked or not

If I was being honest I would say it is not in the league of your better shots and probably left on the cutting floor. Sorry, but you can (and do) do so much better.

Thanks for being honest :)
Sometimes it's interesting to see if it works for other people

Wouldn't necessarily agree 100% with Gary but would agree that its not one of your better efforts, still a nice image. Ian
Different people see things differently thank God

Has potential, and by no means a bad photo, just a few things i noticed i would change. Theres no horizon, so i made the hill in the background the horizontal line. The cloud at the top was also very distracting for me, and the sky in general was too dark at the top. Cropped the top cloud out, and brightened the sky, slightly sharpened the whole image and small colour saturation on the lower 1/3.

Thanks but you just counter acted all my original processing :) Cloud was important for me as it balanced the image and had some play with the tree. I darkend the sky and unsaturated. I was careful with shapening cause it was making the tree look naff :)
It's all very subjective isn't it :)
I have to say although I doubted the original it has begun to grow on me.
Thanks for you input
