What a lovely flower. However, it is rather soft and oof. Not sure if sharpening will fix it. It also looks rather noisey. Did you use a tripod?

Agreed, the idea is definately there, just needs another go to try and get the focus right. At the moment it seems to be out at the very edges, so a bit more DoF and focus on centre petals.
